The Design
A wine room is equal parts storage and display. This concept builds full-height racking around an actual collection — bottle counts, format mix, and how much of it should be visible versus held in reserve.
Racking is fabricated to the bottle, with dedicated positions for magnums and large formats rather than forcing everything into one size. Display rows are lit warm and low so labels read clearly without adding heat.
The millwork is detailed to work with the room's climate control, so the cabinetry and the conditioning system are planned together rather than one accommodating the other after the fact.
